macOS

Requirements

• macOS 10.15 Catalina or later
• Node.js 22.0.0 or later
• Chrome (Stable) or any Chromium-based browser

Installation

1. Install the DevBridge Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store
2. Install Node.js via nodejs.org or brew install node
3. Add the MCP server config to your AI tool (see Configure MCP Server)
4. Run your AI tool — the MCP server starts automatically and installs the native messaging host on first run

Notes

• The MCP server uses a Unix Domain Socket for local IPC on macOS
• On first run, macOS may show a network permission prompt — allow local connections
